Teach Yourself Japanese

Hello, welcome aboard Starsandmoons, Mizuiro !
I hope you have fun reading and posting !

edit: Mizuiro, I can't see your sig. pic. Could you check if the link is working ?

Hi Starsandmoons ! Welcome To The Forum !!

You should find plenty here to help you with Japanese, but if I were you, I'd make that Japanese person your best friend. Having a native speaker help you is a great way to learn. There are lots of young people here to make friends with, post often & enjoy!

Frank

NANGI

Hello there Starsandmoon !! I'm very new here, yet I would like to welcome you to this great forum. I bet Nangi could pitch in some on your Japanese questions, and there is a section related to this Japanese language thing that may be good to check out. If I can ever be of help, just let me know, but Frank gave some good advice there. By the way, when I was in highschool, and found my first Japanese friend--a guy from Osaka who was in college at the time--I started learning from him and it was very useful. Well, I did get a few odd ones; the first sentence I learned which didn't mean what I had been told it meant and didn't find out for a short while, was "watashi wa baka desu!" (even though it may so well be true) ha, ha, ha. . .
Good luck to you !!!!!
