Actually, most of the people out here are more than polite. They are also knowledgeable in most cases so much of what you hear out here will be good scoop.
There is a segment of the gen-pop that will take any position you want somewhere on the scale, so you will find as many allies as opponants on any given issue you can choose. The debates are civilized and restrained for the most part and I find that this is one of the nicer places where I hang out!
