I've been browsing this forum for a little while unregistered but I think its time to introduce myself.
My name is Connor and I'm from Scotland. I started learning Japanese last week and it has become an obsession. I've learned the kana pretty well (still a bit slow at recognising dakuten/handukaten/yōon variants but I'm getting there). I've begun to look at kana words and expressions to build up my vocabulary.
I'm not in any rush. I would really like to learn this language well. At least to the point where I could watch anime without subtitles and read manga untranslated.
Well that's my story (which seems to be very common lol)
