Hello, I'm from Italy and I'm working in the MotoGP World Championship. So there is a lot of Japanese people, and some friends of mine learnt two or three things. I really liked it and decided to REALLY learn it!!!!!!
I know hiragana and katakana, and I'm learning grammatica now, and I'm also beginning to recognize and write some kanjis

I didn't want to ONLY learn the "speaking" so I first concentrated myself on the writing. Day after day a little bit more vocabulary but I think I shouldn't be unpatient!

comgratulations for this forum!!

The roads outside, winding around through these mountain passes, here in the Japan Alps, are a bit slippery for sharp curves on a bike. . . but it's good weather to sit indoors and welcome folks like you, lulu19, to Jref !!

I hope you keep up the leaning. . . you can find some help here in that area on learning Japanese too !! Be careful on the bike. . .and I look forward to hearing from you again !!

But I m a girl!! ルルちゃん

I am sorry, I will not be able to follow this forum, as I have problems seeing the font used in this forum...
I can see very other website and have the input and everything.. It must be something about the font..
So It is a pity.. anyway thank you for your answer
bye bye

You mean you can't see japanese characters and only small boxes :?
For that you must have a special programm i don't remember how it's called but i do remember that there is a thread somewhere here about that

nope, it's not about seeing small boxes, but it's about having all installed and not seeing the font used here!! but I have ms gothic and ms the other one

ルルちゃん, I hope things can work out so as to keep you posting and sharing with us !! I appears that you can read what has been written--basically.

What type of bike do you have?

yes, it's a bit of uneasy thing as everytime i refresh a page of this forum, I have to go on the menu everytime and put "japanese characters" but welll...

I race on a 125GP Honda

Wow !!! That was a fast response, Lulu chan !! I wish there were some way that I could help you with that problem. . . it would always be nice to have a fast, sharp, low lean turning young girl like you chatting with us on the forum !!

That sounds like a good bike. What does the GP stand for? What is the basic top speed on a long straight for a bike of that size?

When I had moved to Arizona from Alabama (USA) I had at first ridden a 175 Honda, then when in my second year of college, got a 500 Honda...that had all the pick-up I wanted and needed. I took it on a couple of road trips, and it was fairly comfortable enough. The Harley's were better rides for the long haul, though.

Your English is good !! I do hope to hear more from you Lulu chan !! MM

Hi there

Hi hope you have a good time! :haihai: :joyful:

in my last race yesterday, it rained a lot and I crashed

Oh no !!!! Are you O.K.? No injury of any type...or just angry at missing out on a chance to grab a win ?

Also...I hope the bike is alright too. I recall hearing a story of a guy who had crashed on a nice Roadhog, and as the paramedics rushed him to the hospital, all he could do was plead them to take care of his baby; his machine !!

I wish you luck in your next race, under clear skies and with a good tailwind to push you through the finish line first !! MM

no injuries don't worry..
and I could not have won...

Good to hear that !! Please do be careful, using all the skill and keen judgment you have, in such weather, on such road conditions. I'd love to see a pic of your bike. Take care and I'll see you 'round !! MM

ths pics of my bike and everything are on my website, lulu19.altervista.org

Welcome to the forum Lulu!!
It sounds like a very interesting and dangerous occupation, GP racing.. I see it on the telly sometimes and I have an endless admiration for the racers.. So fast and so precise, lap after lap.. Great stuff!!
Take care and enjoy your stay!!

I think that one or two words can be presented fairly easily in the area on learning Japanese. You might want to try that there, and there are plenty of people who will help you.

thank you!! i'LL try!!
