hajimemashite .Watashi no namae wa Alan desu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu.

I've always been interested in Japan. watch japanese films, tv and love japanese music. I also had several pen pals in Japan.
Used to study the language but gave it up when i lost the pen - friends . However, i have taken it up again after a very long time (I'm doing a free online course.)
I lost my pet duck last week and i miss him. Had him for 15 years , so, it was not a good Easter for me but i am getting over it.
Anyway, nice to meet you all.

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about your duck. I'm no expert, but 15 years sounds like a good life for a duck. I'll bet it was very happy with you.

Thank you. Yes, i found him in my garden one day , so, i have no idea exactly how old he was .I did read that Muscovy Ducks can live up to 20 years in captivity , so he may very well have been that old or very close to it. Thanks for the welcome .
