Scares me that 70 is only a year away , LOL. Thank you for the birthday wishes. Because I never had any children , we consider our cats as our daughters. Funny , when a human I knows passes away , I am used to it. As a nurse's aid for 20 years , many many of my patients died and I recover from the grief quite fast , even when my parents died. Yet when I lose a family pet , it takes me months to recover. The hardest part for me now is bed time. My cat slept on top of me for 18 years and now I hate to go to an empty bed and feel like sleeping on the floor. Guess I am getting soft hearted/headed in my old age , LOL. Thanks again for remembering my birthday !

Yep! I hear ya about the age thing. Up there too. Got to enjoy life as much as we can. Maybe today I go for another 4 hour country walk and talk to my bottle of Suntory whiskey I just bought at 7-11.
