Got a nova interview

Don't go? Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm sure you'll do fine. Just enunciate, stare the person in the eye, etc. In your interview, you're selling your ability to be a good communicator, so... be a good communicator.
 
Be on time. Other than that, I took the interview and thought it was a breeze.

Haven't you had an interview before but were rejected?
I would make sure THEY know that. I know that sounds bad but...

While its not exactly the same I had a room-mate in Japan for 1 week. Why 1 week? He came over to Japan from Canda with NOVA. Went to training. While at training they found out he misrepresented himself in his interview and fired him. While in Japan.
 
yea, I keep that in mind.
I try to show how much I changed in the last 6 months.
 
Don't be too down if they knowck you back though.
Its common policy amongst many companies to reject someone if they ever failed an interview with that company before.

My dad interviewed for a company and was rejected because he was unsucessful 2 years earlier.

Did he have his visa already? If so... no worries. Just go get another job that by default, would be way better than Nova.
 
They didnt accept you the first time??? Why? How? I thought trained monkeys could get a job with Nova? and before you get all angry I work for Nova.
Seriously the interview is a breeze. I walked in and chatted with the interviewer for like 10 mins and thats all there was and only two minutes was actually about Nova. The rest was a getting to know the interviewer....that night we went for a drink together!! maybe I was just lucky

People who ask the wrong questions or say the wrong things can also be turned down. If you go into a Nova interview and say, "I've read that all companies in Japan have to enroll their full-time staff in shakai hoken. I really don't like JMA, and I want to know if you can just enrol me in shakai hoken now," I'll guarantee that Nova won't touch you.

This is not just Nova though. Getting the quick visa at a lame job and then getting the cushy job is in Japan 101... and they know it. In other words... don't shoot too low when looking for a job (doesn't only apply to English teaching either).
 
My bro is over there. Originally was with some other company but they were jerking his paycheck so he went over to another company. Apparently people switch up pretty easily.

Someone told me about dont put too much things in your application such ( master, experience working abroad....) i aqm so confuse. if someone can tell me some advice, thanks a lot.

there is another way to find a job in japan( easily?????

Hello everybody!! I ma Peter and I from Spain. I would like to work in Nova as spanish teacher. I have sent my application 2 months ago and they didn´t reply ( i have called them and they say that at the moment NOT VACANCIES FOR SPANISH TEACHER.
Someone told me about dont put too much things in your application such ( master, experience working abroad....) i aqm so confuse.In my case I had put evrything ( degree, master, experience, ) and now I affraid about it. if someone can tell me some advice, thanks a lot.

there is another way to find a job in japan( easily?????
