They come from everywhere in Germany to be present. Gothiclolotas, Japan-fans and Cosplayer meet at the Animagic. Cosplayer are people, which masquerade themselfs as comic-figures. Circa 15.000 visitors in three days. New record!
Their big idols live in the city-center of Tokyo. There they are a part of the everyday life and didn't provoke big sensation anymore.
Our Gothiclolitas Alex, Ina and Ying came from Frankfurt, Hamm and Hamburg just for the fair. They are die-hard Japan-fans since many years and at every event.
AD: I'm Ying alias Asian Delicous.
X: I'm Alex alias Xela.

X: I'm at the Animagic for the fourth time and i'll go shopping, shopping, shopping. That's my day's schedule.
AD: I think I'm at the Animagic already for the seventh time.
N: So I sewed 2 weeks on my costum, but you plan it long before of course. You have to save money long time. It's no duty, you can come here in your normal clothes, but it's nicer to attend in your costume.
AD: I worked on this nearly 1 month. It's Latex-knock-off. That's not permeable to air. It's very hot in here. It's not getting better with this wig. And I'm Ulala from Space Channel 5. Though I'm a space-reporter.
Cosplayer, Manga-Fans and Gothiclolitas. A world for it's own. You give japanese names to each other, have an own language and it's all about viewing an be viewed. Japanese Comics, films and karaoke ad infinitum. It didn't have to be japanese all the time, even if some outsider didn't unterstand anything.
X: Because I always dosuch kitchy things, they are quite friendly, the reactions, and the younger people whistle after me. But mostly they gape only.
AD: That's very different. We were at the book-fair in Leipzig. There were saxons, they said that we are all insane. That that's the downfall of the culture. It's totally different from charakter to charakter, doesn't matter if they are old or young.
3 Days stat of emergency in Bonn. The crazy trend from Japan becomes more and more fans. But outside of the exhibitionhall, in the precinct of Bonn perplex faces were left.
Women: Yes i think ... i think they are very very attractive, look not bad and it's a good alternative to the townscape. So i think, that this make it very alively in the last 3 days. I've asked myself the whole time what this is.
