I may be wrong here, PachiPro, but I just noticed that your avatar is alien, as in alien-alian.
Are you into SETI or Ufology?
Even more, (if you are allowed to reveal your true identity by your senior command) are you alien to this third rock of the solar galaxy?
Sorry, I cannot reveal that at the moment as I'm currently doing research.
I use the avatar as I thought it would be appropriate for this site as, stated earlier, I have been called "alien" for so long by the Japanese that it has become a part of my being on this planet, so to speak. Even when I was granted permanent residence in Japan I was considered a "resident alien". So, when I slipped and told people the truth about being an alien after some drinking, they just thought I was from another country so my cover was not blown.
I also selected it because of my interest in scIFi and UFO's which I have been researching for over 20 years now.

If you are, you are very welcome to Earth!
Thank you. Very kind of you.

I'm assuming you have only friendly intentions here.
Yes. Friendly intentions only. If they don't stop shooting at us I can't say for sure.

That is, operating under no subvertive schemes to colonize with extreme prejudice.
None whatsoever. Too difficult to colonize. Would only be a long drawn out war. Your planet is still so young and immature. Just researching.

Why not live together in peace and harmony?
Our thoughts exactly, but it seems no one down here wants peace and harmony.

Who knows, maybe Maciamo will be able to grant you permanent citizenship in JREFland?
Hmmm. After observing this planet and some of the immaturaty here, I'll settle for a temporary resident "gaijin" visa for the moment. We do have high hopes for you though.

They are doing a rerun of the series V on TV; one of my favorites!
I just wanted to make sure!
That was a great mini-series wasn't it? I remember renting it in Japan in the late 80's and was completely blown away by it. It was great. I got a little worried there for a moment as I thought our cover was blown. But we don't eat off the heads of birds. We are mainly vegitarians with a little fish and animal meat thrown in once in a while. My favorite scIFi right now is
Stargate 1, which I had no idea had been on for the last 7 years until I started watching it one night by accident. I didn't much like the movie, but the series is blowing me away and coincides nicely with some of the research I have done. I had to go and buy the complete first 7 years on DVD to see how much they really know about us.
Nice meeting you and thanks for the warm welcome
