Flashcard creator...

Does anyone know of a program that will create flash cards for you if you enter in the text/characters? I know I could probably do this with MS Powerpoint, but I don't have it! I want something free!

I've been pondering over this one for a while now, but i just can't seem to figure out what kind of flashcard you're talking about.

As far as i know a flashcard is a piece of hardware that operates by means of static memory.

Sorry if I didn't make a whole lot of sense. A Flashcard is a card printed with words or numbers and briefly displayed as part of a learning drill. I was looking for software that would allow me to make up my own flashcards.

Not really important... but just wondering if someone knew something like this out there.
