Greetings!

One of my recent favorite groups is PornoGraffiti... the diversity of styles that they perform well is tremendous! From the pure pop of "Music Hour" to the light ska of "Mugen" to the dark trippiness of "Uzu"... you really can't go wrong!

Since no one mentioned them yet, I figured I would... go get some!

My favourite is Kahimi Karie. She has the most amazing voice ever, and her songs are catchy and rather clever. : )

Hmmm, I don't know that many Japanese bands, but audio active are nice enough that I bought an album of them, and at times malice mizer...

I have become an Indies addict. Not a bad thing, of course.

Anyways, I really like Go!Go!7188, too. Their music is more punkish, I suppose. Their singer has a very nice voice, too. *nods* Go download, all of you!

I... like Kana's voice, by the way. o_o; If I can't sing like Kyo, I want to sing like her.

I have to say Hikaru Utada is my favorite J-pop singer. She has everything needed to be a great singer; great voice, great looks, respect for her fans, she can move you with her songs, and she doesn't have to dress trashy like many female singers in America.

Hikaru Utada forever!

Pizzicato five is a favorite. I'm from the U.S. so I don't know many Japanese artists. but I will have to check out some of the ones listed on this forum.

I do love Karen Carpenter.
