External linking

Isn't it possible to put a link into my posts and have an image show up in the post? It seems that I am restricted to a small amount up uploaded photos. That is very disappointing and frustrating! Every time I try to make an external link to one of my Smugmug photos, I only get the URL, even after I uncheck the "parse urls as text" (or whatever) check box.

Seems to work flawlessly, see below. Make sure you don't enter the "http://" part twice.

Thank you for the quick response. However, the process (at least for me) does not work the way I thought it would. Instead of entering a URL, I go to my Smugmug site (not logged in), go to the original image of the photo I want, right click on it, select "copy", and then paste it into my post on Jref. As below, with the caption I have for the photo on Smugmug.
