I went to the post office yesterday in order to pick up a little something something/ secret weapon for my next trip to Japan, they told me I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the next morning (this morning,) so I left the post office and decided to have dinner at a fast food restaurant. Well before opening the door my inner voice told me that it was going to be the best meal I had ever ate from them (the restaurant,) and that wasen't that big of a deal, you know? If it wasen't the greatest I would still eat it but I appreciated my thoughts and thanked them as they had given me something to look forward to. Well so the food came and it was picture-perfect, the best meal, right? Everything was delicious but then the same voice told me to not finish my banana split (the dessert,) and to get up and leave, so of course I followed it's commands since it was so on the money about the food being the best meal I had ever ate from the restaurant. Once I was out the door it didn't really give me any guidance so I figured to just cross the streets like I normally do to get back from that part of my city back to my house. It was a tuesday, nobody was really out around the local area businesses in fact nobody besides me was on the sidewalks. I then, after waiting for cars to pass, crossed the street, walked up yet another sidewalk which was on side of several businesses and thats when I noticed someone walking towards me from the other side of the sidewalk and not just that but she was Japanese and not just that but she looked like Ayumi Hamasaki. Now here is the thing, I have no problem talking to Japanese girls no matter how fine they are and so with that my walking seemingly increased in speed towards her ... until I stopped and sneezed! It was one of those gross sneezes where the snot and everything gets all over your hand and face because covering the snot projectiles with your hand sort of like deflects it back onto the area surrounding your nose, you know what i'm saying? And it was nasty! So I took my snot covered hand and whiped it on the left sleeve of my short sleeve t-shirt and continued walking but ten steps before her I noticed that her eyes were looking to her right, her head wasen't turned to the right but her eyes were and I was walking towards her left! And just like that I passed her, she was beautiful and now she was gone. And she really really looked like Ayumi Hamasaki too as I turned to check out the backside of her I noticed the rest of her body in all it's perfection. But she had been obviously disgusted by me and as I hung my head in shame I noticed that my t-shirt said "Pimp Japan" on it and my shoes were dirty and my jeans smelled and I laughed thinking to myself that if I would have known I would have seen this Ayu-lookalike in my boring little city in America that I would have thrown on one of my many pairs of new shoes, one of my new outfits for my next Japan trip and brought my video camera.

The moral of this story is: Expect the unexpected

looks like someone is off their meds...

Japanese seem to think its rude to whipe things on your shirt, you should have shook your head so it would fly off on the sidewalk.

The moral of the story Josh is that once again, you've probably given someone of a different ethnicity the opinion that white men are all a bunch of childish, *****-mongering, flesh-plundering bores...

You did follow Mike's advice and changed your avatar quote... I'll give you that much.

Thanks (eerrr, for the second part) :)

If that haven't seen those same behaviors in their own ethnicity, in many cases much more flagrantly, they are living very, very sheltered (equally pathetic not to mention racist) lives....

What did Hiroko say in Mr. Baseball? "Jets temperature is doing just fine, Jack."

Everyone should just enjoy my story and be happy with their own lives. It's not a matter of concern and that concerns me.

Funny ?

It seemed OK that Peter Pan wanted to stay "young" forever.

I think you meant to say "boors."
Yep you are right, my mistake.

I'm talking about the "Pimp Japan" shirt... Show me a Japanese man who wears an equivalent shirt in English which would read something like "WHERE THE WHITE WIMMIN AT?"

Well it's true I obviously haven't seen that specifically, :p but no doubt something very similar exists amongst all the degrading and obscene English product designs available there...
