Eh..thought I'd start a thread on this, I've done it a bunch of times. Just wondering if anyone has ever also done this with mishearing song lyrics..there are just some I can think of

Saku-Dir en Grey
instead of "hurry up hurry up wrist cut show" I heard "Kaoru,Kaoru eats cashews" [I think alot of people heard that xD]

Miyavi-Pop is dead
instead of "pop" I heard "poop"

Some Song-Dir en Grey
I forget the song name at the moment when Kyo says "Spark and Spark" I hear "f@*k lets burn"

Bottom of the Death Valley-Diru
he says something that sounds like "Oooh my cheezits"

Gackt-Vanilla
I believe its the japanese word that means "kiss", sounds like "cheezit king"

Random Moi Dix Mois song-
its all serious then he says something that sounds like "Spank that doggy"

thats all I can think of at the moment..anyone else done that to song lyrics? xD

the first song is actually Machiavellism, and i heard:"cry up cry cup, ritz-ka-shi". for Pop is Dead i heard poop as well XD Spark and Spark is from the iiid empire.
lmao, spank the doggy XDDDDDDD *rolls around laughing*

Mishearing lyric doesn't ruin a song for me. Strange lyric does. For example, in Utada Hikaru's ツ"Movin' on without you,ツ" she sings, ツ" Nothing gonna stop me!ツ" and then immediately she sings, ツ"Only you can stop me!ツ" And she keeps repeating these two sentences in the song.
Maybe it is just meツ…. It sounds like she keeps contradicting herself, and that's a little luna to hear.

Strange . I try to understand the english I mishear, which most of the time I can understand it now, because I've listened to jrock for awhile and their english got better. Most of the time the japanese confuses me and I'll hear something totally out of whack

I heard one of Utada's song where she says "your easy breezy and I'm japanesey" whats up with that one?

there's a saying that goes "easy breezy, japanesey" or the alternative "easy peasy, japanesey". That's probably what she has heard and just incorporated in to the song.. it doesn't mean anything.. it's just a saying for stuff that's easy..

"jump up and grab that lever" "easy peasy, japanesey"

This may be irrelevant here, but:

Say the Japanese phrase "bakadamon"! Every Ozzie Osbourne fan will hear it as "Bark at the Moon"!

(This is quite widely known in Japan.)

Thats..interesting. I'm not that much of an ozzie fan, which is probably why I don't get it. I think I've heard something about that though or maybe I'm just imagining it..

Forgot to add in my post that:

"Bakadamon" means "I'm stupid!"

I also heard Kaoru Kaoru eats cashews XD *laughs her heads off while listening to that song*
