now, I'm doing an essay about music and I have a question. are there any differences between ethnic music and folk music? :? if anyone know it, please give me some explanations.

yes since ethic music would be defined as music done by or attributed to a certain ethic group and folk music is similar to country music.

Folk music is a lot scarier too (or at least Tennessian folk music). Ethnic music would be like hearing Celtic songs or something, a countries original, native style.
