How would I say, "thank you for the encouraging message" ?

Thanks for the help!

What came up in my mind first is 励ましてくれてありがとう, but I need more context to judge whether this is appropriate or not.

is there an i adjective or na adjective for the word encouraging? for example, like i said before, encouraging message?

my friend basically sent me a message to cheer me up, and i want to reply to her message starting with this phrase.

If you want the literal translation, 励ましのメッセージ is the one, but 励ましてくれてありがとう works perfectly fine, or rather, is more common in that context.
