Well, it's a strange sentence to begin with. "Kuchi de tabemasu." would be closer in meaning to "We eat with our mouths."
 
I agree with Jimmy, it is a little strange!

How about these, which I got by changing Jimmy's suggestions ever so slightly:

Kuchi ha taberu no ni tsukau.
Kuchi ha taberu tame ni tsukau.

It seems a little closer to the original sentence to say it in this way to me for some reason.

Yes, that's what I mean. I'm not sure a strange translation is the answer to an odd original sentence.
