Happy to have found this forum. I lived in Saitama Prefecture for 3 years as part of the Japan Exchange Teacher (JET) programme, and then in Ibaraki Prefecture working for the American Language School. I've published a number of short stories set in Japan, and am currently at work on a trilogy of fantasy novels set in a mythical medieval Japan. I came here for research on that project.
