And from here, in the middle of nowhere--out in the sticks--I send my greetings and best wishes too !! OK, I'll join in by saying I have been, and am, working on making this fine country an even better place to live.
I have worked hard on spreading my genetic material around, for example, thus helping reduce birthrate decline, all the while building internationally minded future citizens. I have played a role in helping reduce energy usage by choosing to not use that high-electricity-eating hair dryer--I let my hair dry naturally. Additionally, by using far less shampoo, I have worked hard at cutting down on pollutants in the streams and rivers in Japan. (the government should be giving me eco points for that too)
So, yes, when you come to Japan in some 10 to 20 years, it will be a better place. (hopefully not meaning because they will have thrown me out by then . . . ) See you then, Tatsunashi san !!
