can anyone tell me if i'm right?

What are you safe from ? Anzen is generic for safe or secure, that doesn't make it the best for all situations.

That's a little light and casual for some situations, though. You really cannot do it well without context.

a chase scene or something like that

You can say,

shinpai shinai hou ga ii... mou anzen desukara...

This is quite formal, more along the lines "You shouldn't worry, You're secure now" like a police officer comforting somebody...

shinpai shinaide, mou daijyoubu dakara..

Is a little more teenager-ish, like "Its all good now, you're all right now" like a friend comforting another friend...
