Do/Can you find zen in Japan today?

Just be nice to people. It's not too much to ask.

I honestly don't believe you were trying to continue the discussion in a civil manner. After a week of your snarky comments, you had a tantrum about me yesterday, and the next day you drag out some thread from a year ago for whatever reason, claiming it's because you're civil. The facetiousness you show is really baffling. You're a grown up, right?

And for the record, I have never once expected you or anyone to be impressed with time spent in Japan. Not once. That was your own misunderstanding of something said. I tried to explain that to you a couple times, but you have kept going on about it ever since. Almost like you've had a bug up your butt ever since. Jeez.

I really don't care about that. I seriously don't, and never did. I just get tired of seeing new member after new member get upset because you talk down to them (happened again yesterday). I've seen it twenty times for sure. Just be nice to people, and people will be nice back, including me.

When you want to have civilised discussion, feel free to start.

Facetiousness? A little projecting there, no doubt. Facetiousness would describe your pretended doe-eyed innocence about the "condescending gaijin" remark.

And I spot your gratuitous thinly-veiled little digs in threads where I've said nothing. You go out of your way to be antagonistic.

You might like me to be nice, but I'd like you to stop blowing sunshine up people's butts with your often dubious and generally useless answers which are calculated to make you feel good about yourself rather than be of any practical benefit.
