What is the difference between:
anata no uchi ha doko ni arimas ka? and anata no uchi ha doko desu ka?

Both are asking about the location of the house, but I am not able to tell the difference between the two.

As you have stated, there is no difference in meaning but if you want the literal translation, 1) is saying where is your house situated and 2) is saying where is your house.

あなたの家がどこか知りません。そして、知りたい時は、
「あなたの家はどこですか？」、「あなたの家はどこにありますか？」どちらもいいです。

あなたの家が東京や大阪など、だいたいは知っていますが、くわしい所は知らない時は
「あなたの家はどこにありますか？」を使います。
（「どこですか？」も分かりますが、「どこにありますか？」の方がよく使います）

最後に、日本語を勉強する時にこの教科書はとてもいい です。

先生のご丁寧な説明、大変参考になりました。でも、prt1987さんはおそらくそれがまだ理解できないと思います。なぜならば、prt1987さんの質問は英語で、さらに日本語の文はローマ字で書いたからです。おそらく仮名をまだ習得していないでしょうね。

ちなみに、私はいま第二外国語として日本語を勉強しています。わがまま言いながら、私の書いた文に間違ったところをご指摘していただければ幸いです。今後とも、よろしくお願いします。

Pobably he wouldn't care about whether the OP can read his post or not. His aim seems just to advertise his website/book, which thomas-san already deleted, as you can see in all his posts.
