Convenience stores to remove adult magazines

Do they still black out the genitals in porn magazines now? I always thought it must be a great job , spend all day coloring while reading porn and get paid for it.
 
Porn in convenience stores may seem odd to my/our western viewpoint but I don't like how they keep changing to suit western tastes. Like the reduction in mixed onsen where you can sit with old ladies lol. What do they mean by porn? manga porn? The fuzed out pictures? Swim suits with suggestive poses? To us the easy reach to children is disconcerning. We do have the internet and unlimited availability so not like I'd be buying in a conbini anyway.

On smoking a lot has changed. no more smoking on trains even the shinkansen smoking cars are all gone I think. Some parts do not allow smoking on the street, I wonder why afraid of burns maybe? Heck I remember ash trays on airplanes decades ago yuck. Yes restaurants there is still smoking.

I wonder whether Japan will resume it's natural course after the Olympics.
 
I love JAV magazines, where to get them if the convenience place stop sell it? JAV adult stores?
 
Don't Western convenience stores sell porn? They do in Canada for sure.

Anyway, I'd just like them to be above adult eye level, not at kid's eye level. That would just be common sense.
 
Considering the censorship I am not even sure what they mean by porn. Manga, blocked out stuff, gravure idols?
 
Due to the internet sales are down. Japan is developing western anti-sex attitudes. This is purely a business move. 7-11 is no one's champion on any social issue. They are sheer profit incentive. The Olympics makes a nice excuse for not offending the Larry Flynts who will stand up to protect you rights to porn.

No it isn't. Its your cultural bias. Kids barely notice that stuff, or they avoid it cause even they can feel the "eyes", and they don't stand there oggling. Keeping them in the dark doesn't help their futures.. Seeing and asking questions and getting answers does even if adults are made to be stupidly uncomfortable for the questions. Anyway, when I was 8 my friends and I had a stash of porn hidden under an old bridge. I am glad I managed to get out of the dark, even despite the one-eyed man in the land of the blind problems, because I think the problems of the blind are far worse on such issues.
