I dunno about J-guys c**k-blocking me, infact its vice versa, on trains if i saw a dude eyeing up my girlfriend ide sit there as if im just another alone gaijin on the train, minding my own bussiness for a few minutes, then suddenly take her hand and talk to her.

I know it was mean but....if anything it was just bordom. :S

Not to mention the fact my girlfriend wouldnt put up with another bloke trying to come between us, if he was getting too persistent, ide probably give him a good thump just so he knows i aint joking.

Im not violent, im a pacifist, but, theres like over 3 billion women on earth, leave my one alone you greedy jerk.

i think its just women universally
not only do they not want guys (they aren't even interested in) dating other women... they even get jealous if women (that they are friends with) making new friends!!! plumb crazy imo like the girl at the bank
i was in womb and this girl ran all up on me dancing yelling woo
we was having good conversation and making plans, but this maisy bird hag looking weffa grabbed her by the hand yelling "let's go!!!"

This has got to be one of the MOST hilarious threads I have read in a long long time.

To the OP...have some confidence dude, I mean why are you paying so much damn attention to people who are staring at you. If the girl you were interested was talking to you, screw the rest of the world and enjoy it.

You say you are 35 but methinks you have limited experience in dealing with people around you.

To the older posters like myself, I would say it is more common now that;

-the guy alsmost always makes the first move in Japan

-there's a jealousy factor with some Japanese guys versus gaijin guys trying to hook up (cultural envy, size envy, I don't know)

I have been cockblocked in America, but only once that I can remember. By telephone, but I didn't feel bad, I figured that's life. Once in Hong Kong a taxi driver told my girlfriend that foreigners don't live long (poor health), etc!

Like Gaijinpunch said, try other places, maybe like a phone booth or your pad!
