Hi,

as a waiter I have to deal with breakfast and would like to know how to tell people when (and where) breakfast is served. I usually say something like:

Breakfast is served from 7am to 11am (on the rooftop)

thank you so much!

Also, it'd be great to tell people till when the bar is opened and if I can show them the way to it.

The bar is open from 3pm to midnight. May I show you the way to the bar?

yes it is a buffet breakfast. In fact I would invite people helping theirselves by saying:
douzo megashite kudasai

「ルーフトップレストランで、朝食は7時から11時までです」 Is this exactly what you're saying??

(開始時間 = 7 ) と

(終了時間 = 11)

is there any differences between choushoku and asa gohan ??

Do you think I could prevent from using English terms for Rooftop Restaurant and just say:

okujou no ryoriten de, choushoku...

again...could I use kissaten instead of bar ??

Finally, is this romanization ok?

go-annai shimashou ka? -> May I show you the way?

Could I say something like:

erebeetaa made go-annai shimashou as for Let me show you to the elevator :?:?

Also, I could you the construction XX (sochira...etc...) made go-annai shimashou ka? to ask permission to show people to a target??

"megashite"? What you were supposed to say might be "meshiagatte/omeshiagari（召し上がって/お召し上がり）" or the honorific of 食べる, by any chance?

7時[shichi-ji]: seven (o'clock)
7時間[nana/shichi-jikan]: seven hours

朝食[Choushoku] sounds more formal.

One other pointed out by my wife is, typically japanese will use military time so you can just say the time with out specifying time of day.

I was going to suggest.

朝食ご利用時間は午前７時から１１時まで。 But wifey pointed out that it will be expected that it is morning so 午前 is not needed.

～～に・へご案内致します is fine as well. By the way, I'm confused about politeness at your place so I just initially give the standard script. (案内しましょう)。And you don't always need a まで。

yeah...for the moment I am only listening to a podcast called: Learn Japanese Pod Podcasts

Also, I have included in a booklet (pdf) for my co-workers, most of the sentences I learned here...so that they have no excuse

how can I say: Here is my Japanese guide for waiters and (as it were a title/caption) My Japanese Guide for Waiters

for the first one I thought the following would be fine:

watashi no nihongo de annai ni /ueitasu/ nikansuru de gozaimasu

for the second I cannot come up with anything yet, maybe something like:

nihongo annai ueita nikansuru

日本語の案内書 Probably appears at first blush to be guidebook or pamphlet published in Japanese. ;-)

NO. Replace it with a comma ? And so this is information you're writing in Japanese, right ?

I didn't check on the commonality of ウェイター vs. 給仕人 (imho), but any nuances need to be cleared first (imho).
