Recently I have changed my settings under the "My Settings" panel to block "other fora", but still European Forum posts seem to slip through the cracks somehow. Why might this be?
I don't really notice the European topics all that much probably because there just aren't that many of them but it does seem like a curious slippage in the system not to be able to use all the available settings.
So just out of curiousity I also selected the 'other fora' block on my account and Thomas or Maciamo....it appears now that there are definately enough people interested in seeing a fix.

Hiya Thomas! I have a a few things blocked, but the only one that (still) seems to ignore my settings is the "other fora" block. I still get the Europe and China Forum threads when I check for new posts.
My problem is still there, but I saw your Jref roadmap, so I'll rescind from making further comments until the changes are complete. By the way, "Hi!", Thomas!

How to block the religious section? it almost starts to look like the Jpop forum in there for me.. only worse because it is not japan related lol
so can I block it without blocking other sections?
Impossible unfortunately I would say since it has been moved to the Europe forum which is still unblockable. That would definately be next on my list as well...☝
Just as a reminder: we are currently working on the transfer of eupedia.com to the new server. As soon as we have set up a separate European forum, these threads will no longer appear on JREF. After a reorganisation of the Japan Forum you may have the option to exclude other main fora. However, I really don't think it is such a big issue to scan the "New posts" search results for personally interesting threads.
Please be patient, the process of site migration is very time-consuming. Thanks.
