Same here, We didn't hear alot from them lately, but I hoped they would come back with an album T^T Now We have to miss a great band TAT

just when i was so happy about getting the new stuff...and now theyre breaking up????????? *crawls into dark corner and plays days really loud*

they cant break up now - this thread didnt even have a chance to get going

We now have to miss a wonderfull band

Oh no... I've listened to bis alot in the past..T.T Why would they break up? Is there a reason for the disbandment?

I hope all of them continue to play music.. Especially Tsukasa.. :(
 
Ah he's my fave too, I really hope he joins another band or something. Guess we all want to know why this happend huh?

I looked on their OHP but because of my beginner Japanese I can't translate it T^T
 
i think this is what it said:

Disbandment of bis


Having performed at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU on the 17th of November, the members have announced on the stage of the organized event [Za・Male Presence] that it has been decided that bis will disband on the 13th of January 2008 (Sunday).

Accepting Maru's intention to withdraw from bis due to personal reasons as a result after discussing numerous times with the members and staff, along with accepting Maru's decision, the members personally chose the option to [disband] as they came to a conclusion that [among Maru, Tsukasa, Shunsuke and Seika, if there was one member lacking, doing activities as bis would have no meaning] and [for the sake of each individual's further development].



The last activity as bis is PROBLEM CHILD TOUR-FINAL one-man live [Baka is NOT DEAD] held at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU on the 13th of January 2008 (Sunday).

Since the beginning it's about 3 and a half years, and along with thanking the fans and the authorized people concerned who gave massive assistance, please do continue to give your support to the remaining activities right till the end.

nyah heres what maru said in a recent interview about the disbandment.

So tell us what happened..
Maru: When I considered where I am headed, doubt arose inside of me and while we continued activities this feeling of doubt remained casuing me to put a burden on the others. Lots of issues piled up and, to put it a bad way, I did something that nearly deceived the other members. So i decided I wanted to end it all and start over from zero. Thats how we got to this point.

So the desicion to disband started when you decided to leave the band?
Maru: Yes

To be direct what did you have doubts about?
Maru: Recently when I get on stage I have this empty feeling in my chest and I kept thinking about what the reason could be. As I was trying to figure it out, time passed and I though "Maybe I should do things this way?!" For exmaple, I started to think that when the other vocalists perform they create a spark. Even when I try to capture this feeling on stage, nothing gets across, and I feel no matter what song it is there's no conviction behind it. So I want to start over from the beginning and then proceed very carefully from there, though it's such an arbitary decision.

It seems that Maru doesn't have confidence in his singing.. T.T Start from scratch? So he's going to continue singing, that's great!
 
So no spark :O That's the reason, I hope he'll have more confidence in singing in the future!~
 
AHH! I TOTALLY FORGOT T___T anyways Happy Birthday Tsukasa T_T 3 more days until they disband *sniffle* T_T
