I'm here trapped some 2,013 miles away from Tokyo.... I'm just wondering if anyone here watched Azumi 2: Love or Death. How was it ? Don't spare spoilers, chances are I'd be lucky if I could even watch a video of it here.

I didn't even know there was a sequel...i thought the first film was amazing. I'll keep my eye out for the sequel and will let everyone know when i have seen it, and my opinion.

yeah the first one is really cool...well, i liked it!
for some reason (which doesn't make much sense) it reminds me of the manga Ninja Scroll.
It's by the same director of Vesus which is also excellent. although very different.

I was kinda expecting more blood in the first one... (it was Kitamura after all)... but since he's not directing the sequel I am not expecting much...

The first one's good and realistic. The last word being a trite euphemism. Although it leaves you with some loose ends. Azumi 2 is currently being showed in Japan.

...that's a shame to hear...usually when a different director takes on a sequel it all goes horribly wrong...just look at battle royale 2 and ring 0 (in my opinion anyway!)

I've seen Azumi 2, It's a great movie , Normally i can't handle movies with much blood, but when i watched it , it made me laugh
But i haven't seen the first Azumi movie, Couldn't find it

I only saw the first Azumi movie a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. Hopefully, the sequel will make it's way to the States soon!

I bough tthe Japanese one in Japan and it had English subs. Part I would assume will make to the US. Itwasn't too bad though. I think I like 1 more though.
