Travel Any Student Exchange?

Before half the people looking at this comment "Google Student Exchanges!" , I'm just going to say I've tried, I've contacted several exchange programs and none seem to have something like this. I'm wanting to do 8th grade in Tokyo, Japan. I've been searching but I haven't been able to find any Exchange program that allows you to go to 8th grade in Japan. ( Age 13, looking for a full / partially sponsored program, looking to spend $2500 on such a program )

** Update , I can pay probably even pay for food & such, but as a minor, I legaly need to stay with an adult, I have no siblings or grandparents in Japan. **

I've never heard of year-long exchanges at that grade level. Is it available for other countries?

I'm sorry, I should have stated this before, I'm not looking for year-long, just one trimester.

I've never heard of an exchange at that age. In Sweden you could go on summer school/exchange in other countries, France, Germany, UK and probably Japan. I don't know if that helped you out.
