Today, we had a live in Kobe!
It was kind of hot in the hall, and it helped make the live more intense(*^∇^*)

I can kind of tell myself, that I am slowly getting better up til now. However, I still have one point that I can't get over, and so I called up Tohru-san in the middle of the night. (*_*)He gave me a lot of advice, which helped me a lot on the emotional side. I hope to get better on that point by tomorrow. I will do my best! My drumming is still very rough, but please come and listen m(_ _)m.
Just right now, I got my hair cut by Yuuko-san, our make-up artist. I got 2 years younger(^_^)v I can't wait for tomorrow!

Today, we checked out of the hotel in Kyoto in the morning, and moved to Kobe. We then went straight to the live house. Today, the opening time was pretty late, and there was time until the rehearsal, so I was playing around with the equipment.
We have 2 days off from tomorrow, so to me, today was the end of the first step. When I look back at the 6 lives we have done up 'til Kobe, I realized that I have learned and came to understand many things. I also changed my snare drum to the Pearl Maple, the one that I was using before "Yagai de Nyappy yanen". I put on the snare wire that I got from Tohru-san, did my own tuning, and went into the live.
And the results◎! I didn't even have the time to have someone litsen to it, but I thought to my self while playing, "Yes!"
I even got an aproval from the PA, Minowa-san. I was really happy to be able to feel my progress over the 7 lives. Yes, I'm so happy! During lives, there are more chances of feeling your own progress, than in the studio. I want to practice as much as I can, until 1/12, and become even better!
Basically, if I can feel like I "did a better live than last time", I am very satisfied. Right now, I have felt that for all the lives, so I am doing very well (^_^)v
I am sorry for only talking about my self satisfaction m(_ _)m. It's just that I am so happy, that i'm really hyper.
Of course the live itself was very fun! Thanks to everyone in Kyoto! We will come again☆

Today we had a live at Kyoto. It's been a long time since the last time we have been in Kyoto, and it really felt good, because the hall was pretty big♪I was able to move around a lot. I think of lives, as a kind of sport, so I like to be able to run around from bottom to up o( ≧∀≦)o
However, today there were a lot of accidents, all in a row. I feel bad(;_
Also, I made a mistake on the name of the place too much. I'm sorry(he does a play on words in japanese: gomen na-chinese instead of "gomen nasai"). Please, forgive this stupid stupid Mikusuke(;_
The live in all was very fun though o( ≧∀≦)o To me, I thought the performance was pretty good.
I also got chu-nyappy(they had a fortune telling lottery, and instead of chu-kichi which is a moderate fortune, they call it a chu-nyappy)♪Well, they do have a Seijisuiji temple in Kyoto after all.
Thank you for the letters and presents too. I have the day off tomorrow, so I will relax, and read them then♪

Teruki death. Today, in afternoon, we moved from Kyoto→Osaka. In the evening, I went to the Izakaya (a bar) with Kanon-san. We ordered spring rolls, and in there was shiso(japanese herb), which Kanon-san hates. So, he was digging out the insides like you would to crabs, and eating it....
Today, I don't have anything to talk about, so I will write about the letters I got from everyone, and questions about drums I got from the Nyappy ken. It seems to be that there are a lot of cafekkos who play the drums too.
First, about my carpal tunnel. Right now, it doesn't hurt that much. I'm sorry I made you guys worry so much m(_ _)m Thanks for sending me a lot of taping, and cooling-pads. After suffering from carpal tunnel, I made "How much can you release your strength when beating a the drum" my theme. It's an instrument that puts a lot of burden on your body, and so someone can breakdown at once, and not be able to play, even if you're a pro. So now, I am stressing the fact of putting less strength in it, and playing a pretty sound. Right now, I really admire Suzuki-san from Mr.Children m(_ _)m. Oh, the callouses on my hands are going away. Thank you to the people who were worrying for me.
Next, I will write about my new sticks. Before, I was using these sticks called, Pearl H110. This is also something that's been introduced in Glare (a manga) and things like that. Now, I am using STH110. The thickness, and length is the same, but the material is lighter. I changed it because of my arm. At first, I felt uncomfortable, because the more lighter the weight is, the less power it has. That changed over time though.
I also got a mail asking me to "please give advice about drumming, to be able to copy Ancafe's songs". I think I should explain about my drumming for that question.
What do you think a "Good Drummer" is? Of course you don't want a bad drummer, but there are a lot of skilled drummers out there, you know? They aren't all playing the same kind of drums, though. Every drummer has their own style. In music, there is no right or wrong, so if you think "This is good", then thats right. Music...more like any type of art is based on that individual's values.
So in there, I found my own "right", and it is that, "good drummer = A drummer that makes the jobs of people around them easier". For example, drums that make the members say "Teruki's drums make it easy to follow" or "It feels good when we play along with Teruki's drums". Drums that make the engineer and PA say "Teruki's drums are easy to record", or "Teruki's drums make making music easy". I'm not paticularly aiming to have poeple who litsen to Ancafe's songs say "The drums in this song are so cool!". Of course it changes for each song. It's just that basicallly, my "right" in drumming is to support the other parts.
So, if your wanting to drum like me, you don't need to be able to do a lot of difficult drumming. Just carefully do the basics, and try your best to play along with the other parts(^-^) In the end, however, trying to do the easy things with care, takes hard work anyways.
In addition, I am thinking of changing my equipment along the way during this long tour. That way, I can really understand the differences. On the way back from the Izakaya, I used Kanon-san's PC to do some research. Actually, there is a second hand store that sells really nice complete musical equipment in Osaka. I'm thinking of going tomorrow.

Today, we had a day off, so Yuukikki, our make-san and I went to USJ♪It was our first time, so we were all nervous. Yesterday, I was so nervous, I couldn't sleep(;_
When the day came, I was so excited. The instant we got there, I was so in awe by the size and beauty of it☆ミ
All the people walking on the street looked so happy o(≧∀≦)o
We rode the Spider Man, Back to the Future, and the Jurassic Park rides. They were all so fun, I was surprised o(≧∀≦)o We were all having fun, and it felt like I was a kid again Ψ(｀∀´)Ψ I want to go again.
It has been a long time since the last time I went to an amusment park☆ミ
I made a fun memory♪

Today throughout the morning, I went to the second hand instrument store, like I said in my entry the other day. This store in Osaka has much more complete antique equipment than Tokyo. Most of them fit me very well, and there were more in stock than the ones in Tokyo. So then, I finally...
Got hold of a vintage snare drum! o(≧∀≦)o
It cost a lot! o(≧∀≦)o
But I bought it! o(≧∀≦)o
It was a very special item, and when I bought it, the shop owner gave me his business card(^_^
I wonder if he will come, if I tell him to come to NHK Osaka on 1/12....
Anyway, now, the tickets for the live at Shibuya CC lemon hall on 1/9 are on sale. The tickets for the live at Shibuya CC lemon hall on 1/5 and NHK Osaka hall on 1/12 have already been sold out, so please come to the live on 1/9 m(_ _)m. The little bit thats left will go away fast.
Now back to the topic. In the afternoon, we moved from Osaka→Okayama. In the evening, takuya, Yuuko-san, and I wen to the Tower Records in front of the station, and Big Camera(an electronics store). Then, after we fufilled Yuuko-sans dream of "getting full with okonomiyaki", we went back to the hotel and watched a DVD that takuya brought called "SIAM SHADE".
In the begining of the tour, I mentioned Hoshino Aki's name during the "et cetera", and I guess a lot of Cafekkos thought that I was her fan. So, on the Nyappy-ken, I got many mails saying "Right now, Hoshino Aki is on TV!". However, I do not like Hoshino Aki the least bit(^_^
so you don't have to give me information.

Right now, I am resting on my bed♪
Today, we moved from Osaka to Okayama, and Yuukikki, Kanon-kun and I were playing from 3 in the afternoon to 3 in the morning. That's about a half a dayΨ(｀∀´)Ψ My eyes are flashing. I was planning to go shopping because I didn't have any outer wear for the winter. The temptation won over me. It was fun, so it's all fine. Then, we ate dinner together, and the demiglace sauce over rice bowl and the Bukkake Udon(a type of thick noodle in soup) was very good☆ミ I am starting to get hungry again(;_
Just right now, I was reading the letters from the Cafekkos in bath, but I got all light-headed(laugh) And I was all sweaty o(^o^)o
Tomorrow is the live at Okayama. o(≧∀≦)o I will do my best!!
