I think a letter is enough...it shows him that you are there for him and that you support him...you don't have to make big presents or stuff...he will know that you love him wheter you send "just" a letter or some ubercool stuff..don't worry he will know that you mean him a lot, I'm sure!!!!
 
It's so wierd my current bg is bou and i've also been savin a couple bou ava's last week and now i find out he's leaving T___T!!

The live would be really sad im sure everyone will cry ;___;

i've think ive calmed down a bit now (but my sadness will probably start up again at night!) i just wanna thank you all for doing this!!!! im so happy i joined this site lol. ill start me letter tomorrow
 
I really thought I was the only one that cried. I was supposed to be working on my costume but I set that aside and started crying. I cried for about 15 minutes straight. I also covered my AnCafe poster with 5 sheets of paper and I haven't listened to their songs since early yesterday.
Yesterday was a bad day. First I was so scared for my friend because of the VA shootings and then I found out about Bou.
That was definitely not the best way to start out the week.
 
umm, hi i'm new in this thread and i just started listening to An Cafe and i started listening to them 'cause of bou and now he's leaving...
sorry, i don't now what else to say... >.<
 
Yes i cryed to reading the messages he wrote to other band members and what they wrote to him >__<

it's so awful seeing him leave..and they were one of my first bands!!
i love them for about 3 years... I never would have thought bou would leave ;___;

and I'm really wondering what will happen with a new guitarist..

Bou...he is such a big part of An Cafe. He was such an amazing guitarist too.
He was the best jrocker that looked like a girl. No one could pull it off like Bou, not even Miyavi or Ryohei. He was definetly the cutest jrocker ever.
You guys will probably hate me for saying this but I'd rather see Kanon or Teruki leave or even Miku leave, then Bou. It's strange coming from me since Kanon is my fav, but..I just can't ever imagine An Cafe without Bou.
It is imposibble to see An Cafe without the other members, but to me I can picture the band without Kanon or Teruki, but I definetly cannot picture it without Bou.
 
I just read this news on another forum and I cried! seriously, I was just looking threw my An Cafe stuff today ~ watching their pvs then on go on one of my forums and I find out Bou is leaving!!! That's just so sad! I really can't imagine An Cafe without Bou in it... :worry:

Welcome Anima ^^ sad you had to join when we all are so sad about Bou leaving An Cafe, but I still hope that you will like being here anyway.

When me and my friend yesterday did find out Bou are going to leave An Cafe, we both were very close to tears. Although I somehow expected it a bit... but I never thought he would REALLY leave the band. BUT, in the same time we feel this sad, I definitely think we have to remember how very very hard it must have been for Bou to make this decision. I think it's even more difficult than we can imagine. ): Another thing; I'm more than sure that he will feel a bit better when noticing our support to him.
Bou is such a... "symbole" for An Cafe. He "colours" them, I think. Of course they all do... Mweup. He can't be replaced, I guess no one can be replaced by someone else... But in the same time, it can be interesting to see who will play guitar in the band instead of him. As my philosophy teacher always says: The Chinese sign for "cris" is the same for "possibilities", and we have to think about that: both for the band, and the new possibilities that Bou will get.

Ive fanally calm down a bit. I gues no one can imagine a An cafe Without Bou. But i think he made a good choice for himself.

@Mal: I know what you mean, I feel the same way. It would be really hard to find a replacement for Bou. Too be honest i don't wanna think about it.

Actually... I agree.
Miku, Kanon or Teruki, but not Bou. And yes, Kanon is my fav, too, but just like MAL said, I can imagine An Cafe without Teruki or Kanon (OR Miku...), but not without Bou.
Bou was cute, happy and lovely.
I've said this almost everyone of my friends, who're listening this band, but I would really really badly want, that Bou stays, somebody else leaves.
And my best friend, who likes Kanon most, too, and knows that I like him most, was thunderstruck when I said I would like Kanon to leave, if Bou just would stay.
And their letters to each other... They were so sad. I don't want that they are sad. ;(

I don't know do I want to listen An Cafe anymore. >__< If I do, well... I have to wait, right now I can't. I would cry again, 'cause then their music will just remind me of Bou.

I can't understand few people. They say, that they're just happy when Bou leaves. >__< And few guys said they just laughed when they heard about this. ;__.

Welcome new people Argh god. Today was utter SHIET. I kept getting teary eyed in everyone of mny lessons and no-one knew anything cos not one person i know in person likes jrock T_T it doesn't help that my friends keep getting in random moods with me and people i don't know sqirt water all over me then call me a fat ***** sorry comeing off subject hah ^^; im starting my letter tonight!!

are we emailing or posting? I dunno weather to type or write :?

Myself, I think that it would be worse if it was Miku who quitted. He's my absolute fav and without him... it definitely wouldn't be An Cafe and I would probably stop listening to An Cafe's music... at least the future music without Miku. For me, Miku is "more" An Cafe. And I love him so much, eek.

Secondly, absolutely no harm to the people playing the instruments, I think that it is the vocalist who makes the music to what it is. I mean, it's possible to find another person playing an instrument and making it sound sort of like the same as always, but it's impossible to replace a vocalist. You can't find someone else with exacly the same voice. With another vocalist, the band will never ever be the same as it was. So if the vocalist quits... pretty much, I think the band is "destroyed". ):

But this doesn't mean I'm happy that Bou is leaving An Cafe, certainly not! I like Bou a lot, too. He's my second fav... and his personally, as I've said, it can't be replaced. And he's great! But... first of all, NO ONE should leave, but rather Teruki, Kanon or Bou than Miku. >-<

Arlet: *hugs* It will get better soon. In those situations we have to see the small brighter things. Bou didn't feel happy, but hopefully he will feel better when he gets the time to do the things he wants.

And to those who consider quitting listening to An Cafe: I don't think that's what Bou would like you to do. =0

About the letters to Bou: E-mailing will be easier, don't you think? The other way will take... very long time. ^^'
 


When i heard about the news, I asked whether it was a rumour. I couldn believe it!! Bou is the jrocker who can pass off as a really kawaii girl >_< It'll be so different without him... And I dun mean to say this, but i was also thinking that if it was Miku or somebody else maybe I wouldn cry... BUt it's bou!! Lastly, I would like to post a really cute pic of bou in a tribute to him... I wish him the best for his journey ahead...

Wad do u mean?? Erm, for me, im sorry minna, but i dun really enjoy miku's voice... I like their music, yes. But it's his voice... However, im totally in love with snow scene...
 

I was (of course) thinking that too. But Bou was the soul of An Cafe.
He and Kanon based it, and without him there would not be any "An Cafe's Miku", he would just be the same old Akiharu like he use to was. Because of Bou Miku is in An Cafe, Bou talked to Miku's parents about it.

Yes, like I said, Bou was my second favourite too. And I care about him so much, that I would wanted my favourite member of An Cafe leave before him.
Kanon makes most of Antic Cafe's songs, so he's really important to the band, but I think that the others would have been fine if he has leaved, after a little time of sadness. Now they're not so fine.

Well, I thought I already gotten over this, but then I wanted to cry again...
This is so unfair. ;__T

Yes, I know that too; but An Cafe wouldn't have been An Cafe without ANY of them, as I said before. ): mweup... I mean, of course there is a start. But there's also a continue, neh? But anyway, that's just my opinion that the vocalist is the one who makes the band. And I believe in it hard, hahaha. ;D
(Haha, and yes about the Malice Mizer. Of course there are exceptions. ;D)

And as the biig Miku fan I am, I love his voice too. It's... different in a good way. I love it <3

No, it won't be the same without Bou. But a band is more than just one part, which means we've got three whole parts left, right?

I think Bou was one of the most interesting persons from j-bussines, because he was very different, and that was making him awesome... I'm gonna miss him so much

By the way.. i'm thinking will AnCafe have new member on his place??
