Question Another unexplained construction...を

Hello, friends:

While listening to a recorded dialogue, I heard something that has not yet been explained in the series' textbook. A student is concluding a conversation with his teacher, and he says: 「先生もいい週末を」.

I'm assuming he's saying: "[have] a good weekend, teacher", but could anyone confirm my assumption with an explanation/more info?

Yes, your interpretation is correct. The following part お過ごしください or the similar is omitted since it's obvious from the context. These kinds of omissions are frequently used in conversations.
e.g.
A: 明日から旅行なんです
B: いい旅を（してきてください）

A: これから試験なんです
B: 幸運を（お祈りしています）

A: もう遅いですよ
B: じゃあ続きはまた明日（やりましょう）

A: どこに行くんですか
B: 郵便局に切手を買いに（行くところです）
