Anime stores in Japan

Hello there, I have a question for those who travelled/lives in Japan and are, like me, interested in anime/manga.
Can anyone give me a location or address of a good anime store were I can buy anime goodies like posters, statues etc. Or maybe some event which fits my description?
I will be in Japan this august and my travel schedule will be *** follows:

Tokyo
Takayama
Matsumoto
Kyoto
Osaka
Hiroshima
Hakata
Nagasaki

I am aware that this may sound like a weird question, but if anyone can help me out I would be most grateful. Of course I did some research myself, but I would like to hear recommendations from people.

A shop is only Akihabara, but can buy much goods.

I recommend the Akihabara in TOKYO and Nipponbashi in Osaka. Akiba and Ponbashi are the holy ground of Japanese ANIME. There are a lot of ANIME Shops!
