Is it still good for police stops (as rare as they are- once in 15 years for a bicycle check) or need to carry the passport? Immigration stamped the registration card. The passport with the spouse application is also expired but I have new one. Australian Foreign Affairs Department is apparently far quicker for passport production than Japanese Immigration for Visa renewal.
