looks like Alberto Fujimori might finally see some justice.
Will the accomplices please step forward?
(last link)
And yeah, shouldn't those accomplices face justice too?

Chile court extradites Fujimori

In These Times magazine article, September 2002 "Fujimori's Legacy"
some book excerpts with some stuff on Fujimori, cia, cocaine, etc...

p.s.
I posted this under "Assorted".
Fujimori may have once been a politician, but stuff surrounding him goes far beyond politics, so I did not post it under "Politics"

If this story is true then its good news, politicans and presidents always think that the law will not catch up with them.

About time he faced up for what he did.

FUJIMORI FOUND GUILTY OF HUMAN RIGHTS CRIMES

National Security Archive Posts Declassified Evidence Used in Trial
U.S. Documents Implicated Fujimori in Repression, Cover-up

National Security Archive Electronic Briefing Book No. 274

Although Alberto Fujimori is a Japanese National, with duel Japanese/Peruvian citizenship, and nisei, I believe, results of the trial and documents say more about the US empire than they do about Japan. Fujimori just happened to have been of Japanese ancestory.

Chile's Augusto Pinochet was deemed to old to stand trial.
Indonesia's Suharto died before anything could become of his very bloody rule.

Could former White House occupier, George W Bush be next...?
