ACO & Tujiko Noriko Music Translation

Hi,

Some of the Japanese musical artists I like are ACO, Tujiko Noriko, Kahimi Karie, Kojima Mayumi, Shiina Ringo, etc. So, usually within the electronic, jazzy or indie genre.

Anyway, I love certain songs from these artists but the English translations of the lyrics are very hard to find or decipher using translators because some artists are less well known and the phrases or words are, I imagine, idiosyncratic and not word for word.

Three of my most loved songs which I can't find the English translation of the lyrics for are 町 (Machi) by ACO, Hans by ACO and 空っぽ (Karrapo) by Tujiko Noriko. For Machi I found the Kanji and Romaji, for Hans I only have the Kanji and for Karrapo I have nothing except knowledge that Karrapo means 'empty', I think.

I would really appreciate any help in trying to translate these lyrics into English. Even any related music suggestions would be fine, but I think that should be put into another category.

As for the Karrapo song by Tujiko Noriko, I have kept searching and searching but I have not found any information of the translation. You can listen to the full song at he Bleep website if you search for her name under the 'Make Me Hard' album. The song I love is the 5th one (they don't name it).

Again, any help is welcome and if I shall help in return in any possible way I can.

I had a go at translating the songs for you. I kinda enjoyed it but the lyrics of the first song seem really sad.

I had a few problems with some sentences. The grammar was a little hard to follow and lyrics are always hard because there is no context. Anyway it is a first pass and I'm interested to see your translations. Perhaps together we can get the real meaning closer to the lyrics in English.
