Gackt's a good singer and all but this is a a poll for 'prettyness'. Miyavi beats all when it comes down to uke/girly value.

No matter how Gackt tries, he always still holds a manly attribute. You could never mistake him for a girl (at least that's how it is with me). With Miyavi...

yea, Gackt has always seemed to be more of a "man" in my eyes
some people however may see him as a girl.....because he has an androgynous beauty

Yes. I like it when Miyavi looks like a sexy girl and when Gackt is a sexy MAN. I don't want to see Gackt in drag. I'm sure he can pull it off... but I rather he remain in my mind as simply a hot guy.

okay, i must agree about the girly thing, miy is more girly than gackt.
he kinda sits on the line between girl and boy. but i think the older he gets
the manlier, cause his face will be more pointy and such.

Now this is just my opinion and I am sure Normphobe will jump down my throat for it but I personally don't think Miyavi's more "girly" then Gackt. I've seen Gackt dressed as a girl and...wow. Miyavi...I'm kinda scared to see Miyavi dressed like a chick. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Miyavi, I just don't think he's more "girly" then Gackt. Gackt can pull off looking like both a guy and a girl scarily well in my opinion.

They can both look like guys or girls, imo, depending on how they are dressed, how their makeup is done, and the kind of photoshoot it is.

I'm surprised Shinya doesn't have more votes on this...

Shinya is one I am a bit so so on, his body and face is somewhat like a girl, and he doesn't scream MAN to me like some others do, but recently he looks very masculine, in the past he looked very fem, but there is something about his face that I can't put my finger on that is a bit masculine also.

Miyavi is the one who when I show people pictures of people say oh she is pretty the most. Even on pictures where he isn't trying to look like a girl.

1) "Who's that hot chick?"

2) "Who's that babe you've got in your sig?"

3) "If that your friend? Introduce me to her!" (I had Miyavi-sama as my MSN display pic)

4) "Whoa! What's her name?!"


I love to lead them along. "Oh! It's Miyavi! A popular Japanese rock singer!"(Carefully avoid any mention of gender )

Give them a fansite and wait for their "OMG! what! WTH! BBQ!" scream from over the other end of MSN.

That's what my grandma said when I showed her Gackt. I had one of his songs playing. The conversaton went like this:

"Ohh, that's a pretty girl."

"That's a guy."

"Who? I'm talking about the girl on your computer."

"That's a guy."

"That' a guy?"

"That's his song that's playing." (insert 'Vanilla')



Even my little 4 yr old cousin called Gackt a 'pretty lady'. He's so obviously male to me. I wonder if we JRock fans have developed a 6th sense? JRock gender detection instinct or something.....
