The cherry blossoms (Sakura) were gorgeous this year.
They are every year.
Only here in full splendor for about two weeks. Red. . .pink. . .white.
Then they fade, wither, and fall.
The air turns sweet.
Delicate, pink petal showers cloud the streets on spring breezes, and gradually, they disappear--hiding their beauty away in some other reality until the time comes, again, to remind us of patience, mercy, life.
