So you have about a week's worth of time to visit Japan. Here's what I did when my time was limited in 2005:

Thanks for the ideas, seems you did everything pretty well. I will be finally going to Japan next year for the first time and like youreself I also don't have too long to enjoy Japan.

You're welcome. But keep in mind that I was in Japan two times previous to that trip, so I pretty much knew how to navigate around Tokyo.

But don't let that daunt you. I was able to get the hang of it on my first trip.

Good page. And some nice pics with some actors, heh?

Anyways, that's a good guide and from my personal experience, don't buy any guidebooks or anything, just go to wikitravel and you get the information as if you were a local.

Wow...BANDAI Museum sounds like tons of fun. Too bad it's no longer there. I would have LOVED to visit.
