A couple of translation questions

What is the correct or rather, most common Japanese word for 'email'

I have seen words like eemaru, iimeerou and other combinations, but what is the most correct translation?

How would you say, "I received your email(message/letter, etc)."

Also, when saying thank you for a specific object in an informal way such as ,"Thank you for the gift." Is it "Arigatou okurimono." or is it "Arigatou o okurimono." ?

メール (meeru)

I haven't seen either of those.

You can say メールをもらった or if you want to be formal you can say メールを受け取りました.

Neither, "okurimono arigatou" is the order of the words.

I'd say "ii-meeru" or just "meeru".

(I) received = 受け取った（うけとった）uketotta、受け取りました（ うけとりました）uketorimashita*

*polite

Eメールを受け取りました。（Eめーるをうけとりました）
E-meeru (iimeeru) o uketorimashita

Okurimono o arigatou.
Okurimono o doumo arigatou.
Okurimono o doumo arigatougozaimashita.
