Thank you for the pictures! Tohru is so beautiful.. He's one of my most favourite 12012's members (the second one is Wataru ^^) Not long ago I read that Tohru has a strange mascot: a plastic box with a Rirakkuma (damn cute teddybear) in it - he calls it the "Forbidden Box", and nobody's allowed to open it. *melts* So cute!

yes yes....hottopic specailizes in selling rock-band merchandise
they sell clothes, accessories,anime stuff, music, piercings/jewelry, bags, and many other things; i got a bad *** set of pj's from there *so cozy* and they recently started selling past issuse of shoxx and cure...which is freaking amazing....

You are so lucky! We have no stores in Moscow that specialize in rock-stuff.. I don't know why (16 mln people live in the city and no hard-rock cafes and specialised stores).. It really depresses me But I hope I'll be able to buy sth in hottopic via internet ^^ Thanks for the link!!!

Okie, a lil bit more things about 12012 that I've read lately. Maybe you'll find out sth new, as I did
Wataru

As Wataru writes all the lyrics for 12012 he likes to be called "creator" instead of "vocalist". In one interview he said that he suffers a lot when he's writing lyrics. Also he said that he can't really trust people, and always tries to figure out what's going on in others' heads. And this makes him feel lonely. (it was quite a shocking thing for me.. cuz Wataru usually laughing and joking around a lot). Well what esle..
He played soccer in elementary and high school. However, he completely gave it up for the sake of music. (Lucky for us, ne? ^^)
He likes to read a lot, he said reading is as much of a daily habit for him as brushing teeth. ^^
Tohru

Our lovely Tohru wanted to play the guitar as a child, but his parents didn't want to buy him one. In order to win their favor, he would put strings on a cardboard box and "perform" for them.
His first band was founded in high school - his friends all picked an instrument and only the drums were left. So Tohru became a drummer
He loves ballads much. He would love to sing ballads when going to karaoke bars with the other band members, but he restrains himself, because it would make the mood gloomy. (Because of this he even considered going alone a few times. ) Once he sang "Vomit", but Wataru got really mad at him.
Tell me if you want to hear about other members too ^^

haha, and the box... o the box XDDDDDD can you imagin being the only guy in amongst FIVE sisters? it's no wonder he likes to keep this 'secret'... i would get parreanoid from growing up like that... lol XD

Some more information about the other members.
Hiroaki

He is 12012's main composer (although all band members take part in writing songs) and he was the one who suggested to Wataru that they should form a band (which became 12012 <3).
Hiroaki has 2 Dan in karate. He actually wanted to be a karate teacher, and study sciences at the university as well! (His parents might be crying right now. )
Aki's father used to be in a band, too. He visited some of Aki's concerts, sometimes leaving in the middle of the show because "the sound was bad".
Since the US tour the others call him "Hiroyaki" (maybe this is how the american pronunciation sounded to them.)
Yuusuke

Yuusuke had all kinds of plans for the future, such as becoming a photographer, a Formula 1 racer, or a professional baseball player. But like the others, he ended up in 12012. Speaking of photography, he loves taking pictures in his free time; some of his photos were even used for the covers of "Play Dolls" and "Heart"!
He started guitar lessons in elementary school. He actually wanted to play the saxophone , but it was too expensive.
Apparently he's (or used to) driving the band's van a lot. Once they got into an accident near Nagoya. But apart from Tohru spilling his food and Tomoyuki hurting his neck, they were lucky.
Tomoyuki

*looks at Tomo's outfit and dies million times* Hot!
Tomoyuki learned the piano in elementary school. (besides bass he plays the synthesizer in 12012 songs.)
Tomo's father is a shakuhachi master (traditional Japanese bamboo flute), he used to try to "jam" with Tomo while he was practicing the piano, but he only managed to annoy his short-tempered son.
Tomoyuki likes movies very much, especially Johnny Depp's Edward Scissorhands. (He's a huge Johnny Depp fan! Wataru actually calls him "Johnny". ) He also likes to read a lot, especially classical literature, one of his favorite books is "White Nights" by Dostoevsky. (Tomo-chan, sugoi! )
He generally loves summer, the sea, fireworks festivals, and girls in yukata (summer cotton kimono). *runs off to buy one *

I decided to post also a fragment of 12012's interview about the dreams. I noticed that practically all of them are speaking about nightmares.. and LIVEs. Our guys need a vacation ^^

Tohru: I'm on stage. There's a huge drum set, and the live house is also so big you can't see the back. The curtain is opening, but I don't know what's the first song. Wataru is looking at me: "Hurry up!" So I start counting the beat, but it's all messed up. Wataru says "We're finished!" and the curtain comes down. In this dream I really felt like my life as a musician was over. I was all covered in sweat when I woke up.
Wataru: Because you leave out songs sometimes. It's the same as in your dream.
Tohru: I do... (laughs) That dream came true!
all: (laugh)
Hiroaki: I saw a dream of our live in Astro Hall. We played five encores. Before the fifth song I thought, I have to go home!
all: (laugh)
Hiroaki: I wanted to go home and fix my makeup and my hairdo, but then I thought the fans would go home. But then again, I really wanted to go home, so I did. Then I woke up and saw that it was a dream.
Wataru: I've been photographed holding a knife. I was planning to use a butterfly knife at lives. Then I dreamt that the knife flew away, and it cut a fan in the face. But she didn't notice, and danced on. I was terribly nervous until the song ended. So I've decided not to use knives at lives.

Yuusuke: Recently I only see dreams of lives. Probably that's what I wish for. (shy laugh) In a stadium, in daylight.
Tomoyuki: I often fall asleep in the bathtub, and then I see lots of dreams, like being attacked by octopuses.
Wataru: What the...

Wataru: On nights before a concert I often dream about being backstage. It's right before the show, and just when I think "OK, let's go!", I wake up.

Yes. Actually on February 14th 2007 the graduation ceremony was held for 12012, Vidoll, and Phantasmagoria - who graduated from Under Code Productions. According to various sources, Kisaki had explained that they are now ready for bigger and better things... In fact the boys are going major, but it is still unclear what label they will have. However Rame (Vidoll) implied that the 3 bands will stay together, wherever they will go.

Domo, it's Tooru.
Tomorrow it will at last become the so called day of UNDER CODE graduation.
Although we're graduating I think I'll still be able to do this "aibou" for a little while, but as an UNDER CODE affiliate this the last aibou, the image is a 2shot of president KISAKI-san who I'm indebted to even until now... Truly thanks!
I want to talk lots about KISAKI-san and my UNDER CODE companions but... there's still tomorrow! We're not done yet!! (laughs)
Mood-like I feel since tomorrow is "the final" it's gloomy, but from tomorrow we have a new start!
Well from now on alone in my house, I reminisce about my old UNDER CODE memories and restart to go face tomorrow.

Well.. when I found out that 12012 was switching the labels I had really mixed feelings about that.. To tell the truth I still have.. mmm... I understand that maybe Ichi ni outgrew already Undercode and need a bigger label to handle their promotion, ect. And maybe if they decided to go in this direction it makes/keeps them happy as artists. But at the same time I'm afraid that they will repeat the destiny of some indies that went major and lost their VK image, became totaly comertialized.. Well the only thing that remains to us is to wait for thier new album. I hope 12012 will release it in spring.

I hope not, at least I didn't hear that Ichi ni broke the contract with GanShin that organizes concerts and realeases of J-rock and Visual Kei bands in Europe.. Btw, did you meet 12012 when they came to Europe in 2006?

oh and i agree with you completely,, most indies bands who have went major have changed their Vk-ness and everything i really don't want to see that happen to the undercode bands.. actually i've been really happy with undercode lately since they have stayed visual but we don't know for sure what will happen so we have to wait and see how this new label suits them

i really don't know the details... but io heard he was starting up his own lable... however, i think at the time he was still plannign on keeping Phantasmagoria on UNDER CODE so... i really couldn't say ^^; (i guess ask in the Phantasmagoria thread?:?)

To tell the truth every time I watch the preview of 12012 new single and compare it with the style/music of "early" Ich ni I feel depressed. Maybe I'm a paranoid already, but I think they are really moving away from VK.. Have you seen the Cyclone preview btw? (http://12012.jp)

Well.. I'm a rather new to Ichi ni (know them less than a year), and I completely missed their visits to Europe... Afterwards when I read all those fan-reports and I was like --> And when I found out that there was a chance to win the dinner with Miyawaki or to play pool with him I practically killed myself with a pencil.. heheheheh)) But now I'll deffinitely come if they decide to visit Europe once again.
