Hi Adam! Welcome To The Forum!

The majority of members can use English OK, so don't work yourself to death on the Japanese. The Forum is a great place to practice & improve your Japanese skills as well as learning about anything you want about Japan.

I'm not that good to correct you for sure, but maybe the others will help you. I can't write using kana/kanji, I'll be using roma-ji then.

* konnichiwa is written "konnichi ha" - it's a really common mistake which most of the people do (especially when writing at computer).

* desu kedo - I think that desu ga would be enough. Or even there don't have to be "desu".

*desu & dakara doesn't go well together. desu kara is enough, or atarashii kara is enough too. (You are so polite XD)

I'm not sure about the other two sentences, so I won't say anything. How long are you learning japanese?

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to remember your comments. This is what I came here for (apart from meeting great new people, of course!) - to learn from my own mistakes, and to write in Japanese as much as possible, although I'm still a lousy writer, not to mention speaker...

I'm not sure about the other two sentences, so I won't say anything. How long are you learning japanese?

I started last September. I know it's been a lot of time to make more progress, but I'm also a full-time worker, husband and father, so I find my time for Japanese either by sheer luck, by staing sleepless until late hours, or by neglecting my beloved ones.

Thanks Frank for welcoming me, and good to meet you! I know most people speak English here, and I'll use the lingua franca, too, since I can express myself in 窶ｰpﾅ津ｪ much more clearly, as you might have noticed . However, wherever I can, or feel like being able to do it, I'll kanji a little, and kana even more , because I fell I need to write in order to improve, and having read many postings at Jref I've noticed that people don't mind being asked to proofread others' messages in Japanese -- some even seem to like it!.

Yes, "窶堋ｱ窶堙ｱ窶堙俄?堋ｿ窶堙?konnichiha" is correctﾂ、but usually I write "窶堋ｱ窶堙ｱ窶堙俄?堋ｿ窶堙ｭ-konnichiwa" in English. Because a lot of people write "konnichiwa" but not "Konnichiha".

You have small mistakes, but your Japanese is very good. Writting fluent Japanese is very difficult, even Japanese people.
