Hello everyone. My name is Marcus. I'm new on this forum, but it looks like the place for me, heh. I absolutely love Japanese, both the language and the culture. I'm right now only in Japanese I, so I'm not exactly fluent, far from it in fact, but seeing as how I plan to study abroad in Japan, participate in the JET program, hopefully eventually go to HAL college (which is in Japan), and perhaps eventually make permanent residence there, I'm very motivated to learn it. I'm looking for a pen pal or IM buddy that I can practice Japanese with, though I will probably have some learning to do before I can converse very well. I still want to try though. I know this isn't the place to put out those requests, so I'll be doing so in the proper place as well, I just thought I'd get it out there here too =P.
