I am not sure when the next audition will be held, but as long as the game industry exists in 2009, someone creative is required then.

I don't know you should be apprenticed to a Rakugo comedian to become a creative game designer in the future, but Satoshi Tajiri, the father of pokemon, was originally a writer. Nobody knows the future.
Salaryman is not specified, but included in the category, "etc.", so you don't have to quit your job to apply for the audition.
