Remember, が draws more attention to what is doing something, while は focuses on what it is that they are doing. If we say 'once upon a time there were three little pigs' the part we care about is that they are 'three little pigs', not that they 'were' so we would use が。 Every day these pigs would go shopping in town. Here the important part is what they are doing, not that the pigs are doing it, so we use は。
eg. 昔昔１匹のドインクがいました。 このドインクはとても小さくて、とてもかわいいドインクでした。

What you have looks fine to me so far, the use of "子猫（こねこ）" isn't so much being introduced in the sense you are going to give information on their background or focus on who they are as much as as what they did (in which case は is best）.
This thread/game has become extremely confusing....

I was confused thinking you were trying to repeat 子猫（こねこ）は ドインクを 洞窟（どうくつ）に。as the following sentence.

(I sugest the next person who goes, to just put 1 word, like an adverb, then the 3rd person to go can put the verb...because that's the only way I see it working, but if you have another idea, use it =D)

I think that that would look more like:
子猫は洞窟にいるドインクに「にゃ～」と鳴きました。 そうして、洞窟の中から大きくてふわふわした青いドインクが出てきました。
probably still a mistake or two (or more) in there though, but the Japanese that you have above doesn't really make much sense. Its like:
'The kitten screamed the doink meaow at the cave' and the second sentence needs が for the subject.
