コンサートは、６時半からです。 あと３０分ほど、ロビーで、お待ちください。

The concert starts (?) at 6:30. Then there's something about please wait in the lobby, and a period of thirty minutes is somehow involved, but I'm not sure how to put the parts together in their proper relationship and proper time sequence.

The concert starts at 6:30. After about 30 minutes please wait in the lobby.

That's what I got from it anyway.

Almost. "Please wait in the lobby for another 30 minutes" is more like it.

Do you think, then, that it means wait until the concert starts (i.e. the time is now about 6:00)?

Well, I would assume they'd want to get people into the auditorium before the concert starts, so it's probably a little earlier than 6:00. You know, it takes a while to move a lot of people, especially when they have to find seats and get settled in. But then that isn't specified in the sentence.

The meaning is "additional" in this case so it's the same as もう３０分ほど.

You would need to say "あと３０分ほどで" to mean "in about 30 minutes."
