Hokushika Kita-Akita Junmai Ginjō Genshu Hiyaoroshi is pressed in early spring, pasteurised once and then slowly matures in the cool summer months in the brewery. Once autumn arrives, it has developed into a harmonious, mellow flavour.
Fruity nose, mild approach, light-bodied, medium dry, and a well-rounded, sweet midpalate, crisp and bitter finish with a sour tingle. It is well-crafted and highly satisfactory to those who like sweet sake.
