I can't believe there is no thread for them, so I'll post the most important facts:



The band was formed in 1992.


Members:

  • Vocal: Hakuei ( * December 16, 1970 )
  • Guitar:Chisato ( * October 4, 1971 )
  • Drums:O-Jiro ( * September 14, 1972?



Ex-Member:

Bass: Gisho (left in 2007

They haven't found someone to replace Gisho, so they use support-Bassists, for example Ni~ya (Nightmare)

Latest Album: Super Nova

They're going to release a new single on May 8 called Black Hole.
 
Really? I read his blog entries about recording and stuff.. but i didn't know what they're going to record, so thank you for lighting up the dark hehe

Ah i really wish that i could get the 'Hamlet' thing on DVD or download or whatever .. i saw a vid on youtube and it's so cool.
 
No prob. ^_^ I wonder if Ni-ya would still be the support bassist for their new single?
I like his bass in Rainbow.

I only seen Hakuei's performance of To be or not to be in youtube too.

Hmm about Rainbow, there is a guitar part, that reminds me soooo badly about sakito's solos hehe..
Ni~ya totaly fits into penicillin and i like his bass there too.

I wish someone would have recorded the live, where ni~ya was their bassist again and than they played Sta[k]night.. OMG PENICILLIN VERSION OF STARNKNIGHT +nosebleed+


Ah and that Hamlet thing.. i found out what the problem is.. it was sold on VHS at that time... so i think thats the reason why you can't find it.
I asked the person who uploaded that vid on youtube, and he/she told me, it's easy to get such things on russian websides.. ah yeah well, i don't speak russian.

But i've found it on a selling-site on lj, so i hope everything works fine, and i'll get it in a few months.. then i've to find somebody with a dvd-recorder-vhs-combi-thing and digitalize it and if you like to, i'll but it online and share it with you haha

Whoah! Penicillin version of Starknight? I wish I've seen it. Starknight is like Nightmare's theme song!!
That is so cool for Hakuei to have sang it live. I guess it's to show gratitude for Ni-ya and the band for letting him play for Penicillin. XD Ni-ya is so cool. Though he is the perfect bassist for Nightmare, I think his bass also fits Penicillin's music. Did you notice Ni-ya's clothes in Rainbow? It's the same clothes he wore in Budokan. ^^

Ah, so the Hamlet is that old. XD

what do you think about Hakuei´s tatoos ???

I love them 😊

They´re such traditional....I like these kind of tattoos....my right leg is tattoed all over with traditional japanese symbols...:p
 
Normaly i don't like guys with a lot tatoos.. but Hakuei's tatoos are fantastic.
As you said, they are so traditional and it reflects him perfect.

Isn't it funny that he said he doesn't even know the meaning of all of them ? Only his tattoo artist knows all the meanings.. lol
