One smal practical questions. Normally you get an yukata, japanese rope, to wear when you arrive to ryokans.

Do you folks know if there are there large sizes also, because I'm almost like sumowrestler?

Or should I warn those ryokans where I will stay.:-D

Most hotels prepare a yukata of big size.
If a yukata putting in a room is small, please contact the front desk.
A hotel brings a yukata of big size.

In RYOKAN, there is one NAKAI (a parlormaid) in one room.
You can have NAKAI prepare a yukata

They do provide a set of yukata for guests, but you are not obligated to wear it.

Although wearing yukata after taking a hot bath can make you feel a little luxurious, you can wear whatever is comfortable. I usually wore my own clothes because I was never dainty enough to be able to keep the front part closed.
