Hey, I was just gonna ask anyone if they think this plan is nuts or if they think I may actually have a chance at this:
A-hem...
First off, I am not QUITE fluent in Japanese, but am getting REALLY close, but um,,, yeah... I have been working on singing in the Japanese language VERY hard. I know that the articulation is MUCH different, but I try. All of my comrades say I sound Japanese, but I dunno. Anywho, my friend Stefon and I plan on moving to Japan to try to make it in the Japanese music business. We're both obutsu na Amerika no akuma--baka na gaijin da. He is a REALLY, REAAAALLY good percussionist (better than the late Kami-sama of our beloved and sadly disbanded Malice Mizer, I'd say... in fact, I'd say he puts Kami to shame, and I LURVE Kami), and I'm teaching him to speak Japanese whilst learning to play the pipe organ so that I can make purdy Goth rock. Woot ! But, anyways, I plan on going to Japan through the J.E.T. (Japanese Exhange Teaching) program after I graduate from college (I'm in the 10th grade now, and Stefon's garduating this year) as an assistant Eigo no Sensei, and I *HOPE* to have Stefon follow behind me as a tourist and try to get a JOB so that he can get a working visa, but do you all think that we could get any recognition even as gaijin ? And, you think we could ever get successful enough to terminate our working visas to get artist visas ? I plan on trying to gain citizenship after I've lived there for 5 years, but I am not sure if I'll be required to marry someone to do so. As a homosexual male, I will not marry a woman, nor will I marry someone just to gain citizenship. Also, I don't know if Stefon can live there permanently without becoming a citizen or marrying a woman and raising a family. So, uhhh, what should I do ? And, does this sound like a good plan ?
